Secluded luxury in the Nicoya Peninsula
Pictures and words cannot depict the true beauty of Calamocha Eco-Lodge. You will be in 70-acres of private land with 5 separate luxurious and unique lodges to choose from. With breath-taking views of the Costa Rican jungle, plunging into the Pacific Ocean you will feel at one with sweet and wild nature in the most magical setting. Enjoy delicious local and organic fresh fruit, granola, squeezed juice, fresh coconuts and more in this idyllic setting. All our meals are served here and will nourish you from the inside out. Breakfast and 2 course evening meals are freshly and lovingly prepared on site by our wonderful French chef Veronique.
Each meal is special with a backdrop of the most breath-taking sunsets as Mother Nature puts on her majestic nightly show in the Nicoya peninsula - one of only 5 Blue Zones in the world.

Meditation
Every morning we gather to begin our day with a soothing guided meditation. We will drop into our hearts surrounded by nature.
Yoga
After our meditation, continue your day with a 75 minute yoga practice. As the week unfolds our classes build upon each other. All begin with an oracle card, pranayama (breath work), and then into our Vinyasa Hatha flow.
We believe Yoga is joy and all our classes ensure you connect to your own joy and perfection as you are now. All levels are welcome and you will begin or deepen your yoga practice that is true and real for you with a smile on your face. Shavasana (a restorative yoga pose) in this setting is like nothing you have experienced and deep peace reigns in your heart.

Surfing
Participate in a surf lesson with our local surf guru Esteban and learn how to ride the Pacific Ocean waves. Even if you’re a beginner, you will walk away from this experience energised and refreshed from the inside out.

What is the cancellation policy?

Deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel before 60 days prior to our trip start date, Soul to Sole Wellbeing will refund 50% unless you find a replacement. This does not include any portion of the deposit. If you do not find a replacement, your deposit will be forfeited. No refunds will be given if you cancel later than 60 days prior to our retreat start date.

The moment I landed in Costa Rica, I knew I was meant to be there. And upon entering Calamocha, excitement filled my whole body. I was greeted warmly by Carla and the house I stayed in was perfect. I was even more excited to see the infinity pool and the acres of beauty before me! A Jungle Oasis
Calmocha Lodge sits perched a top 74 acres of undeveloped jungle on the northern tip of Manzanillo, offering stunning ocean views, vast tranquility and peaceful solitude allowing for a truly unique and special connection to the surrounding environment.
La Casita
There are 2 beds, a king and a twin in La Casita. It is a private bungalow with a shower and balcony that overlooks miles of wild jungle and ocean views.
It is a major migration route for monkeys as they leap a five-foot foliage gap and head back into the valley below. It is not uncommon to look out the window and and watch the monkeys pass by close to your room.
There is a small fridge, coffee making facilities and plenty of storage.
Casa de los Mangos
Casa Mangos is a private house on two floors both with balconies. It is in a beautiful mango orchard of 80 trees. The upper floor offers a spacious bedroom, with a large king bed and two built-in twin beds, facing a large entrance that opens onto the balcony with a dramatic ocean view.
Downstairs, an open veranda spans two sides of the structure, minimally adorned to let nature fill the space. A sofa and swinging beds are there for you to relax on whilst listening to the sounds of the jungle. It also has a full kitchen and large bathroom.
Casa Blanca
It is the perfect house for a guest looking to find friendships with two other people. Or, imagine getting two friends to come with you and the three of you share this adventure in your own house.
The beautiful white walls create a clean and inviting space as natural wood carries throughout. It offers 3 queen beds, spaced comfortably in the large space extended by the high ceiling.
There is an outside table and balcony providing amazing views of nature and a top spot to see the monkeys and other wildlife in Calamocha. It comes with a fridge,coffee making facilities and air conditioning.
Jungle Lodge
Jungle Lodge is the most modern and luxurious accommodation at Calamocha. Furnishings have been carefully selected to harmonize indoor tranquillity and the jungle outside. This villa offers a luxurious bathroom with a massive sunken bath with shower, a large king-size bed and single bed. Fully fitted kitchen, swing chairs in the open living space and air conditioning in the bedroom.
Perfect for a couple, two friends sharing or a single guest wishing to treat themselves to the luxury which the villa offers.
Casa Zen
This is the largest house in Calamocha with breathtaking views over the jungle and the ocean. It has 2 floors, the upper floor offers a bathroom and two beautiful breezy bedrooms. One private room with a king bed and the other bedroom can either have 3 single beds or become another private room.
Downstairs has a full kitchen with panoramic dining, a large couch, a hammock and another bathroom.
