Cancer New Moon: Coming Home to Yourself

This Cancer New Moon is an invitation to pause.

Hiya lovely souls - Yesterday we had a New Moon in Cancer & the energy is at its strongest for another three days. 

My rising sign is in Cancer & maybe that is why I find  Cancer New Moons are some of my favourites. I always find them to be really supportive. Their energy feels gentle, nurturing & like a hug from the Universe.

Cancer is the sign of home, heart, intuition & emotional wellbeing.  And this New Moon in Cancer reminds us that sometimes what we need most is not to do more, fix more or have everything figured out now....

Sometimes we simply need to come home to ourselves.

To take a breath & become present 

To check in with our heart

To ask ourselves what we need right now.

Our lives can become so busy that we forget to listen to our own inner wisdom. We focus on everyone else or the next thing on our to do list & we are not present or connected to ourselves.

This Cancer New Moon is an invitation to pause.

To soften.

To nurture yourself the way you nurture others.

So today, I invite you to ask yourself:

•What do I need right now?

• Where can I be kinder to myself?

• What would make me feel supported?

The answers may be a lot simpler than you think.

Remember love is simple. 

A walk in nature or the beach. 

A quiet moment with a cup of tea.

Having a bath & an early night.

A yoga class. 

Time spent doing something that brings you joy.

Mine was a swim in the ocean & time alone walking on the beach. It felt so good to make it happen for myself yesterday. I took the photo above - it was a magical & just what I needed. 

Whatever this Cancer New Moon brings for you, I hope it reminds you that you don't always have to push forward.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is pause, soften & come home to yourself in whatever way feels rights for you.
